Details

Come listen to Daniel Carleton discuss building the Dublab.com search functionality using KnockoutJS and Elasticsearch.

Dan currently codes for EnergySavvy, a green startup based in Pioneer Square. A ten-year veteran of Seattle tech ventures and research institutions, Dan coauthored MarketLeader’s high volume internal sales and marketing system and wrote tools to control microscopes and organize scientific data at Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Outside of his passion for computing, Dan is an avid sailor, theatergoer and collector of musical instruments he will someday learn to play.

This meetup is being held in Room 050 James C. Pigott Pavilion for Leadership (PAVL050), which is located on the Seattle University campus. Here is a link to a building map pointing out this building: http://www.seattleu.edu/map/#PAVL

Here is a link to a Google map pointing to the adjoining building. (The building the Meetup map tool points to is actually across from the building where the Meetup is happening.) https://goo.gl/maps/lLeQh

Please note: the meetup is actually in the Pigott Pavilion for Leadership, across from the Library and the Student Center. Our meeting space is in the basement, across from SUpercopy and Reprographic Services. If you come to campus and ask for directions, do not let people direct you to the OTHER "Pigott" building, which is the Business school.
