JUNE MEETUP
The topic for June is: Virtual & Augmented Identity.

7:00-7:15 pm - Intros
7:15-7:30pm - What does identity in XR mean to you? What readings or XR experiences resonate?
7:30-8:00pm - Breakout into groups of 3-5 for discussion and
brainstorming
8:00-8:30pm - Groups share what they learned and insights,
and we decide topic for next month
8:30-9:00pm - Mingling and chat

The format will be loose, with time to form small discussion groups who will share insights with the main group. We'll provide paper and markers. Bring questions, readings, images, post-its, laptops or other tools if it will help your process.

DESIGN SALON DESCRIPTION
Seattle VR and PlutoVR are hosting the Design Salon monthly meeting to provide a forum for ux professionals, designers, researchers, students and VR/AR/XR/MR enthusiasts to deeply discuss current literature, practices, research and tech from a design perspective.

We’ll focus on a number of design issues which are unique to immersive environments, but look at each one in depth. Concepts central to UX design, user research, storytelling, collaboration, cognition and related disciplines will be applied to both the hottest and the most overlooked areas vital to designing usable immersive realities. Bring your curiosity!

“What are the boundaries of Design?”
