VR Art Night

We've seen a ton of incredible creation tools emerge with virtual reality, like Tilt Brush, Quill, and Medium. The possibilities for art in VR are infinite!

This month, Seattle VR is inviting local artist communities to join us in exploring artistic expression in VR. Our goal for 2017 is to provide access to VR hardware for communities that have never experienced it before! Sharin' that VR love :)

WHAT WILL BE AT THIS VR ART NIGHT?

We're teaming up with local VR artist Scobot (http://www.scobot.com/blog/)to curate content that artists can explore. We'll have 8 VR stations set up with a range of applications that artists and our regular Meetup goers can try.

But let's not forget the good ol' pen and paper approach. We'll have coloring books, markers, and colored pencils for doodling.

The $5 entry fee goes towards SNACKS!

WE LOVE THE SEATTLE VR FAM

We are made up of diverse professionals, students, academics, and enthusiasts that are diving into the new world of VR, AR and mixed reality. None of us truly know what we're doing, which is what makes this space so exciting!

Our meetup is safe and inclusive. Anyone and everyone is invited! If you don't know anything about VR, this is a great way to start learning.

Seattle VR meetups are for peoples of all ages. We welcome everyone from kids to grandparents at our events. There will be no alcohol served during our event. We have a strict policy on this so we can ensure fun and safety for every person and piece of hardware.
