Glazer's Photowalk: Holiday Lights + Evening Cocktails
Hey everyone! The holidays are upon us, somehow, the year is wrapping up. This is an event I've done most years (when I'm in Seattle, during the holidays) and I just love it! Join me with Glazer's Camera for a fun, evening outing downtown, to capture all the holiday bling! We will meet at Westlake Center, create some images there then head towards Pike Place for more vibrant lights and fun. Bring your tripod and some layers, it may be chilly... Glazer's has partnered up with Tamron to bring in some lenses for attendees to try and Vanguard to bring in some tripod for people to try. There may be a lot of people at this event, so quantities of these items will be limited. Post event, those who want to, we will plan to head to Pike Brewery for post event libations and snacks. Hope you can join More details: https://bit.ly/2QJwCgM

    What we're about

We are a group of photographers, photo enthusiasts and creatives with interests that run from the most current in digital cameras to a passion for all things analogue. If you’re new to photography or a seasoned pro, this group is a great way to get out and socialise with people who have a similar interest.

Our goal is to host 1-2 events a month, from Photowalks in varying neighbourhoods around Seattle, and surrounding areas, to social hours, we lovingly refer to as Brews and Views.

Photowalks are a blend of hanging out with your fellow photo geeks, exploring neighbourhoods or parks in the city, taking photos and having fun.

Brews & Views are social gatherings, we find a pub or restaurant, ideally with decent food and a good selection of libations. We sometimes bring prints or digital tools to share our work. Often there are many cameras around to chat about. The conversation runs the gamut from photography (or course) to travel to movies to anything!

Other events we will host: Lighting Demos, Educational Lectures, Excursions.

Our group is about supporting each other, being a space for people to learn and grow creatively. No question to stupid, no gear judged not worthy. If you shoot with a smart phone, film camera, DSLR, Mirrorless or instant, all cameras are welcome, multiple cameras are even encouraged sometimes.

Members who wish to host an event should contact the event organiser to get that event published to the calendar.
