Security Shell Meet Up
Chris Geiger is a cyber architect who has worked for a large defense contractor for the past 14 years. He has worked on many interesting (and some mundane) cybersecurity projects. He tries not to bore people too much with computer security talk outside of work, but for this group he will make an exception! SSH is a powerful, versatile protocol. We are going to look at everything from the basics of SSH to some things that you may not have known that it could do. Come out to familiarize yourself with the Swiss Army knife of remote access protocols.

What we're about

Philly Security Shell is intended to be a meetup focused on hands on learning and networking for those interested in information security.

In other words a place for people to learn more about computer security and the tools used by information security professionals.

This group is starting out but with some input from all of you I'm sure it will be able to grow into something great.

We meet monthly on the third Thursday of the month. Meetings start at 6 pm but everyone is welcome at any time.

We are in midst of an era where Cyber Security is taking front page and enterprises are embracing new technologies to defend against intrusions. Come and join us to both network and learn from one another.
