Matthew de Carteret (@pARODY on the SecTalks Slack) will be presenting on Webshells - How they work and finding them on your services.
There should be a CTF of some sort - details will be released once confirmed. There will be a group walkthrough session for anyone that wants to participate in the CTF (anyone want to volunteer to lead the group walkthrough?). If you don't want to participate in the CTF you can just come to socialise and hang out.
Here are some thing to take note of:
1) Bring your laptop if you intend to do the CTF.
B) You may want to bring your own wifi dongles or tether to your iPwns.
five) This is a learning exercise for everyone. The idea is to think about problems, make friends and have fun. Don't treat it like a competition (too much). If you are a beginner and no clue where to start, ask around, most people are friendly and will help out, or let you shoulder surf.
z) Have fun. Learn. Mentor if you are able to. Participate, or just socialise. This is supposed to be a fun, learning event for the security and hacker community.
As usual there will be catering courtesy of our AWESOME sponsors, Alcorn Group. Note that due to our ever-increasing growth, there will be limited food and drink.
If you can't find us/get into the venue, please call (03)[masked] or shoot us a message on Meetup and we can help out.
