"Night of 100 ELVISes" in Baltimore

The "Night of 100 ELVISes" features non-stop Elvis performers and music on three different floors of the Lithuanian Hall from 7:00 pm to 2:00 am. The tickets seem pricey, but they include Elvis food and free drinks, as well as dancing and being a witness to Baltimore people taking quirky to the next level. This has been an annual event for 20 years that draws participants from all over the U.S. and the world.

This event is PERFECT for us. It's an Elvis party, not an Elvis show. There are different bands playing music continuously (5 minutes each) between the Elvis performers in the main room. A group of SHR members have already purchased tickets and reserved a table. But anyone can buy a ticket to roam and mingle with the colorful crowd.

And they are VERY colorful indeed. Many people take the Elvis theme beyond the limits, including female Elvises and a kid Elvis (now retired). Nothing is out of place.

The main room will host all the Elvis performers during the evening, mixed with dancing and different bands. Downstairs is ALL Elvis performers ALL night, and upstairs are the younger Elvises and dancing.

If the free Elvis finger food inside doesn't do it, then we can visit the Kommie Pig BBQ truck outside for the REAL stuff. The Elvis event lady told me the guy who runs it really is Russian. Very cool...

Several of us are staying in Baltimore overnight to attend the terrific Hampden Christmas Parade on Sunday. We had a great time there last year, and I've scheduled the parade again as an SHR event.
