Fun and fabulous event:
First annual celebration Saturday, April 20, 2019 in Kihei, HI. The event will be from noon to 9 p.m. and will be held at the VFW Hall and property at 1136 Uluniu Rd., on the ocean in Kihei.
Gates open at 11:30 and the Festival kicks off with a blessing ceremony by Vene Chun at noon, followed by a drum circle.
In honor of 420 awareness, this event will be free to the public, however a donation of $10 is suggested. Event includes a full day schedule of Live Music by The Exiles (7:30-9), Kanekoa (5:30-7), Randall Rospond, Maui Wowee, and Maui Afrobeat Ensemble. Featuring artisans, yummy food vendors, cannabis & hemp awareness, wellness & massage, yoga, auction of lots of cool items, fire show, stilt walking, open mic dome, comedians, bake sale and keiki zone activities such as balloon art and face painting. ALL AGES ARE WELCOME!
This is a non-profit event and all proceeds raised will be used to fund this year’s event. Any excess funds will be donated to a local, non-profit organization offering ‘green initiative’ services or wellness services to our community. The beneficiary organization will be determined on the day of the event and voted on by participants and guests!
A $10 donation is suggested.
