What we're about

This group is for anyone who lives or is temporarily visiting Sedona, AZ and the Verde Valley who wants to experience or be a part of a cacao ceremony. Firstly, cacao (kuh-kau) is not cocoa! Cacao, whose scientific name literally means "food of the gods", has been used by the ancestors of central and south America for millennia. Cacao helps in rituals of self-renewal, healing, and an allowing of ourselves to center and connect to our hearts and expand our luminous energy body. The environment is meant to be safe and nourishing, like Patchamama/Mumma Earth from whence the cacao plant grows. We will work in sacred space and drink cacao with a ceremonial intent with love, light and intention.

Locations can change as some gatherings may be in the comfy living room of the casita or at a location out in nature. It depends on the time of year and what opportunity affords.

The general workings of the ceremony is an opening and setting of the container space in which we will work, the sharing of an experience by the group and a closing filled with thanks. Again, every gathering can be different and change depending on the group's needs. For the most part, after the cacao there will be a variety of activities including any combination of guided meditation, sharing group, dyads, sound bath, oracle cards, shamanic trance dance or even a nature walk.

Come join us in opening our hearts to spirit and eachother in healing and love.
