My Word Publishing presents Read Local: An Open Mic for Writers on the third Wednesday of the month from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lincoln Station Coffee/Pizza/Music at 9360 Station St. in Lone Tree. Each month’s Read Local will kick off with a special featured author reading, followed by five-minute open mic slots for local writers to read their works, either in progress and published. The event offers a chance to mingle with local writers, as well as publishing industry experts. Grab a drink and dinner at Lincoln Station-Coffee Pizza Music and listen to an array of writing, with all genres and writers welcome.
