How to price your products/ services pt.2

• What we'll do
The long awaited part 2 is finally here!
Let's discuss the dark art of pricing! Evaluating creative services (and products) isn't clear cut and there's tons of variables to consider, which makes it one of the most anxiety inducing activities in a freelancer's life. It doesn't help that information is scarce and closely guarded. Well I don't think it should be that way, I believe that openly discussing pricing and setting industry standards will help us all receive a fair pay for our work, so let's talk about it!
Agenda:
- Short introduction (if needed)
- who are you/ what do you do?
- Discussion
Some points to get us started:
-
Should you ever work for free? Just kidding, of course NOT!
-
Pricing per hour. How? How much?
-
Fixed project pricing
-
Value based pricing. What the F is that?
-
Freelancer's price vs. employee price
- Final thoughts and chat
Share any ideas, proposals and/ or feedback you might have. This is also time for a more casual chat and "getting to know each other" if you have the time and desire for it.
We also have a FB group, because, why not: https://www.facebook.com/groups/496789874040322/?source=create_flow
See you there!
