History of our Group

The Senior Sidekicks meetup group began in June 2019 in response to the end of Hands On Charlotte's calendar program. Since 1991 this non-profit had been managing various volunteer opportunities for individuals including those at senior centers. The former volunteer leaders decided to continue the volunteer projects after the volunteer project was phased out.
