Sentia likes to share her knowledge! This time through arranging a meetup about Zabbix. The meetup takes place at our office in Amsterdam on March 22nd and starts around 18hrs. During this meetup our Sentian Rick van Vliet will tell you everything about Zabbix and he will also share his practical experiences. Some background information:

Rick started working with Zabbix about five years ago (since version 1.8) at first, with just basic server checks and snmp checks for networking devices and later for pretty much everything you can think of using custom scripts or one-liners. He is a big fan of LLDs and believes they are great and that they should be used whenever possible, he has developed LLDs for SAN, vCenter monitoring, Backup checks using whichever language suitable for the job (Python, perl, powershell).

Sentia developed a methodology to communicate between Elastic Stack and Zabbix. Several Sentia professionals who are acquainted with these methods will be present amongst the participants and will help us answer any queries and will be around to have a conversation about any questions.
