PLEASE NOTE:

Following the map link above will only work through Naver Maps. Here is a link to the TOZ branch we will meet at (Walking directions below):

The Reading/Discussion:

This week, we will read Isaiah Berlin's classic essay, "Two Concepts of Liberty."

The essay is very easy to find via google, though I will be using this version (http://berlin.wolf.ox.ac.uk/published_works/tcl/tcl-e.pdf) (pdf warning).

Walking Directions:

(Come out of Exit 10 at Gangnam Station. Walk down to the first Left. There is a Body Shop, Godiva and a Marley Cafe on the second floor in that building. Walk down that first left to the first Right. There is a shiny silvery club their called Mass. Make that right and walk down about 50 meters and you will see a largish sign for Asahi beer on your left along with a Kkanbu Chicken place. You should also be able to spot the sign for TOZ on that same building. The TOZ is in that building on the 3rd and 4th floors. Tell them at the front desk you are looking for the 철학동아리 and they'll point you to the room number)

About Facilities:

We now need to reserve a space that fits the number of people who have RSVPed. So we do ask that you RSVP when you are more or less certain that you will be able to come. This way we have a good sense of who will actually be there and can get the appropriate room before it is taken by another group. To add, there is a charge of 9,000원 per person to use the room, but this grants you bottomless beverages including tea and actual brewed coffee!
