"Lantern Effect Table" at Lenexa, KS Enchanted Forest

KID FRIENDLY EVENTfor ages 6 and up! Volunteers will staff the "Lantern Effect" Table during Lenexa's Enchanted Forest (http://www.lenexa.com/parks/festivals_enchanted.html)event, to raise money for Harvesters. Only RSVP for Adults, and comment on # of kid volunteers you will be bringing.

Volunteers will assist patrons with decorating and floating lanterns in the park pond or take it home to enjoy. Volunteers duties include: collecting donations, organize and giving lanterns, handing out candy, help in the craft area and guide guest to the pond to float their lantern. Volunteers are welcome to dress in costume, but not required.

Visitors will enjoy free activities including performances by marionette puppets, magicians and singers along the trail around Rose’s Pond and fun photos in the photo booth. They can also stroll the seasonal displays, visit friendly characters and enjoy the performances, enchanted hayride, pumpkin painting station and playing on the inflatables.

Parking at Indian Trails Aquatic Center & Cedar Ridge Christian Church (I always park at Cedar Ridge Christian Church, spots closest to the park/pond as possible)
