Create Heart Door Hangers in Remembrance of Hospice Patients Who Have Passed

The hearts (https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B9eF2l7hejc2WUc1ZzFXWnBOZjA&usp=sharing) that Serve KC volunteers will create hang on the doorknobs of deceased residents. Families are encouraged to take the heart as a momento of a loved one.

Please bring any or all of the following materials if you have them on hand (we will all share what we have):

• Scissors.

• Narrow ribbon.

• Beads.

• Heat-n-Bond Interfacing.

• Glue gun w/glue sticks.

• Material (cotton works great).

• Patterns (https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B9eF2l7hejc2WUc1ZzFXWnBOZjA&usp=sharing). (There are two options for how to make: Iron method or sewing method. If you elect to sew, please bring a sewing machine, otherwise, we will use the iron method)

This will be another great time of working together to create items that are precious to families.

Feel free to bring snacks to share.

This craft project requires some concentration, but is worth it.
