In this demo-driven presentation, we will run Java functions on AWS Lambda and Apache OpenWhisk, both of which provide JVM support. We will also look at ways to run Java on Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions, and the Kubernetes-based Fission framework. The demos will preview the POF (Plain Old Function) programming model enabled by Spring Cloud Function.

Mark has been a member of the Spring team for over a decade. He started Spring Integration in 2007 and co-authored Spring Integration in Action. He contributes to several Spring Cloud projects including Spring Cloud Data Flow. Recently Mark has been working on Spring Cloud Function, aiming to bring simplicity to Serverless Java.
