JAM UPDATE: CANCELLED
The team behind the Cardiff Service Jam, along with many Jam teams around the world, has made the decision to postpone the Jam until a later date due to uncertainty caused by COVID-19.
If you have already registered for the Jam and paid a registration fee, your fee will be refunded on or before 20 March 2020.
We want to extend a thank you to all who registered as well as to the University of South Wales for your support and sponsorship.
The Service Design Cardiff team will continue to work behind the scenes to identify future opportunities to bring the amazing community together. Until then, we wish you all good health.
A jam designed to build community and enhance skills for designing better services.
The Cardiff local jam is just one of nearly 100 jams running simultaneously around the world.
In a spirit of experimentation, co-operation and friendly competition, teams will have just 24 hours to develop brand new services inspired by a shared theme applying the methodology of Service Design Thinking.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Everyone is welcome - service designers, product designers, sustainability experts, academics, business people, teachers, hackers, makers, artists, students, mums and dads - you will form teams of 4-6 people and work together on ideas which can make that little difference.
Or perhaps a big difference - it's up to you.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Through the weekend, you'll be linked to other jammers at other sites all over the globe, working in different ways on different answers to the same challenge, sharing problems, advice, and insights. On Saturday afternoon, you will present and publish your results to the world.

Saturday 21 March | 10:00 - 17:00
Teams work on the challenge with guided workshop sessions and team mentors
(Lunch and coffee, tea and snacks throughout the day will be provided)
