Multidisciplinary design
Details
Aloha Serv Labbers!
Service designers are almost always part of multidisciplinary teams and learning how to collaborate, communicate and thrive with other disciplines is a key aspect of the work.
This September event is therefore all about hearing from different perspectives and experiences how this looks and feels in practice, in daily jobs, and from people with different backgrounds. We will hear talks from a range of brilliant speakers about their learnings from working as part of multidisciplinary teams with a focus on policy, healthcare and research nationally and internationally.
-
Marida Maiorino, Emily Doyle and Tassie Ghilani from the Ministry Of Justice will be talking about 'Creating an enabling environment to co-design in a multidisciplinary team' from their work on an ongoing prison leavers project
-
Oonagh Comerford, Service Designer at SH:24 and Rapha Krong, Public Health Nurse will be talking about working with clinicians on Jojo - Jojo is a free contraception advice service in Nairobi, Kenya
-
Vanessa Lefton and Ben Peppiatt from Policy Lab will be talking about 'Storytelling through Service Design'
