Call for Submissions: "Stone, Brick, Glass and Metal" City Hall Gallery

Hello Photo Friends!

Our next City Hall show, “Stone, Brick, Glass, and Metal: Worcester’s Buildings and Monuments”, is now open for submissions!

We maintain a gallery at Worcester City Hall which hosts four shows every year. Twenty-five images fitting the theme Stone, Brick, Glass, and Metal: Worcester’s Buildings and Monuments will be displayed from December through March. We are partnering with Preservation Worcester for this exhibit. (Please note, you may not reuse photos from any previous exhibit with Preservation Worcester or the City Hall Gallery.)

--- Submissions ---

You may email up to three 3 JPG images to me at priscilljm@gmail.com. Images should be no more than 1024 pixels wide and no more than 768 pixels high. Please The subject line should be "City Hall Submissions".

While the jury will not see names, for admin use they MUST be labeled with your name and the image title, following this format: "Priscilla Messinger-Flowers.jpg" Please use the title that you wish to have on the displayed image.

If your name is not in the filename, the images will not be considered.

--- Schedule ---

• Submission deadline: November 11 at 11:59 PM • Notification of selected images: Within a week

• Framing Party: December 2

• Hanging: December 3

• Opening: December 5

If your image is chosen for the gallery, YOU MUST attend the Framing Party with your matted prints so you can frame your image.

--- Printing & Matting ---

Prints must be matted with white mats to an exterior size of 16x20". The print size doesn't matter as long as the mat is 16x20", to fit inside our 16x20" frames (provided).
