We celebrate sexuality for its gift of pleasure and its capacity to move us toward love and intimacy, but it can also be a doorway to healthy communication, acceptance, boundary-setting, integrity, empowerment, creativity, exploration/adventure, trust, healing, and more.

Daniel Phoenix, MA* will speak, share metaphors, lead discussions, integrate the creative arts, host game shows & adventures, demo concepts through improv theatre, and more. We will playfully and consciously explore the nexus where sexuality meets personal growth.

A few of the many sub-topics where sexuality meets personal growth:

Sexual fantasies can be expressed in psychologically healthy ways (most of the time) and unhealthy ways (some of the time). In addition, there are "grey areas" to discuss and understand. Find healthy ways to enjoy these realms!

Personal Growth can be fun and sexy! Once we identify key personal growth "areas for improvement," we can customize our sex lives so that healthy personal growth behaviors are erotically rewarded. Once you learn how to do this (it's easy!), your sexuality can become a very powerful ally on your journey toward self-improvement.

Cheating Prevention: learn how to recycle external sexual energy back into your relationship, through: 1) fun discussions about your sex life, 2) an introduction to "Role-Playing for Intimacy" (a.k.a. "Monogamy's Missing Link"), and for some: 3) the creation of alternative relationship agreements. Keep your your agreements, or don't make them in the first place!

*Daniel Phoenix, MA received his Masters in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, and his Bachelors in Socio-Cultural Anthropology from Tufts University. He has been a speaker, workshop/seminar leader, and More coach, since 1995. Daniel also loves scuba-diving and thunderstorms, but not at the same time.
