What we're about
Join us for English Tea (hot tea and scones with cream, butter, and jam) and reading Shakespeare aloud together. Parts assigned at the beginning of each scene--everyone welcome to participate (but no obligation). Plenty of time for questions and discussion. Suitable for both experts and newbies.
Upcoming events (4+)
THIS IS NOW A VIRTUAL MEETING**
We will read an entire play together, out-loud, over two or three weekly meetings. Please message organizer for current play.
I cast each scene at the beginning using volunteers. We stop frequently for questions, comments, and discussion.
Everyone welcome: newbies to old pros; and it's fine to join in the middle of a play: You'll catch up quickly.
When we met in person, we shared scones and tea. We suggest you brew yourself a cup before we get started.
If you RSVP, you will receive a Zoom link 30 minutes before the meeting.
