Portfolio Building Series: Ideation
Details
She Can Do has seen people who are trying to get into the design industry facing a catch-22: you need industry experience to get a job, and a job to get industry experience.
With this problem in mind, we run a four part workshop series where we create miniature design teams that are connected with real clients. Every event of the series focuses on a different design methodology that will help the teams implement valuable solutions for their clients. Each team is also assigned a design mentor who works closely with the team throughout the year in order to monitor their progress and upskill them.

What to expect from workshop #3: Ideation
Would you like to find creative ways to solve the problems found within your research? Our workshop will help you learn how to ideas on your research findings and create ideas that will help to improve your client’s business.
Liz Dom will be guiding us through an ideation workshop where she will teach us about the following:
What is ideation and where do great ideas come from?
What are original ideas and how do you create them?
Ideation techniques and how to use them
Don’t worry if you didn’t attend the previous event, we ensure that the talk and workshop are relevant for both new and previous attendees.
