Shizuoka Culture and Language Exchange (SCLE) is dedicated to the promotion of Japanese culture and language exchange with expatriates from around the world through various events. We are run by locals and foreigners who live in Shizuoka prefecture and have interests in Japanese and world culture.

Our objectives are to provide language exchange opportunities to members who are learning English with those who are learning Japanese and to learn more about each other's culture through various events.

We aim to hold at least one social event every month. These include izakaya nights, coffee meetups, field trips, and other miscellaneous events.

Whether you're new in town or you've lived in Shizuoka all your life, if you'd like to practice speaking English or Japanese - this is the group is for you!
