After Work Hike! Temescal Canyon Loop

Details
In order to get in shape for the Six Pack of Peaks Challenge (http://sixpackofpeaks.com/) and Shoestring Adventures (http://www.shoestringadventures.com/adventures) in Yosemite and Havasupai this summer, we'll be alternating between Baldwin Hills Overlook and Temescal Loop on Wednesday nights for mid-week conditioning.
Temescal Canyon is a beautiful coastal hike with a decent climb in elevation. This is a regular Meetup every Wednesday night.
Temescal Gateway Park is located off of PCH at the intersection of Sunset Blvd. and Temescal Canyon Road. Parking is free along Sunset Blvd and Temescal Canyon Road, but there is a charge to park inside the park. Let's meet at the entrance of the park on Sunset Blvd at 7PM. We should be done around 8:30PM, so bring a head lamp if you have one because it will get dark. The loop is about 2.6 miles with a challenging hill climb. We should reach the summit just in time to watch the sunset.
Bathrooms inside the park are locked, so be prepared. Sorry, pups are not allowed on this trail :(
For safety reasons, at least 3 people must be confirmed to attend, or the event will be cancelled.
