Groundhog Day Returns!

Details
Shoreline at Mountain View hosts a volunteer orientation for community members getting involved in volunteering as a Patrol Ranger, Gatehouse Attendant or Environmental Docent. Two orientation sessions held at the Community Room at the MV Library (585 Franklin Street) starting at either 4:00 OR 6:00 p.m. RSVP: (650) 903-6073.
Patrol Rangers assist Shoreline and Stevens Creek Trail users by providing information regarding routes, park facilities, safety and by keeping trails free of litter.
Gatehouse Attendants greet visitors, monitor activities and educate the public about Shoreline at Mountain View, a 750-acre wildlife and recreation resource area.
Environmental Docents educate members of the public on the area's unique history, diverse species and baylands ecosystem by providing one hour docent-led walks. An opportunity to get involved in educating elementary-aged school children, too!
Please email Kristina.Perino@mountainview.gov with your requested orientation time, and which of the fvolunteer positions is of the greatest interest to you!
