What we're about

This group is primarily a walking group though depending how things work out, I might occasionally arrange a different activity like a cycle ride, or a social event at my home. The group aim is to build friendships as well as basic fitness.

The group will be doing half day walks of 4 to 6 miles, mostly at weekends, with some morning walks and some afternoon walks. The walks will be suitable for beginners, those looking to build fitness, and people who do not have time to go out for a whole day.

I live at Wycombe Marsh between High Wycombe and Loudwater, and many of the walks will be in the woods to the East of High Wycombe starting at Gomm Road. Other walks may start at Bourne End, Beaconsfield or Marlow.

For the moment, walks will be limited to 5 guests and we will be maintaining social distancing. We'll behaved dogs welcome. Walkers are responsible for their own safety.

For those wanting to do longer walks, I have several friends who lead walks of 7 to 12 miles, so if you fancy a bit of variety in your routes and distances please ask. I shall be happy to give you their details.
