Sibiu Web Meetup #1

This is a free meetup, with limited seats, for anyone interested in web development, web design and all other web related topics. All skill levels are welcome, this includes students, juniors and senior devs. A meetup that revolves around the idea of knowledge exchange and community building.

1. The web platform: will happen, happening, happened by Peter-Jakob Cosoroabă

We have many platforms available, but the Web will be, is, and was the most open, accessible and popular platform for development. Together we explore why, and especially what awaits us in the future.

2. const transformJavaScript = (🐛) => 🦋; by Cosmin Stamate

We'll talk about how JavaScript evolved through the latest specifications and explore several major features introduced in the past years. This presentation is aimed towards beginner developers that understand basic JavaScript and want to delve into more complex features, or veteran developers that are not up-to-date with the latest that JavaScript offers.

3. OWASP for dummies by Lucian Petri

In this presentation, we are going to dig into the inner workings of the most common 3 OWASP web vulnerabilities. We are going to see attack vectors such as XSS, exploiting components with known vulnerabilities and silly security misconfigurations.
