Come celebrate Earth Day with the Sierra Club from 5 to 8 p.m. in downtown Los Angeles.

Learn the ins and outs of hiking in L.A. from speaker Casey Schreiner, founder of the website Modern Hiker and author of the new trail guide "Day Hiking Los Angeles: City Parks/Santa Monica Mountains/San Gabriel Mountains." Also a National Park Service ranger will be talking about mountain lions and their fragile lives in the urban core.
