This is NOT an in-person event. Sierra Club group outings are currently suspended indefinitely due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
These Exercise Guides are intended to assist and encourage exploration of parks and natural areas in the Huron Valley Group region. Please enjoy them on your own or, using appropriate social distancing and masks, with others.
Scio Woods is a nice, simple hike and the route is always pretty. This time of year, it might be a bit muddy as well, but nothing too bad. Plus the various streams are likely to have some flow in them, making the bridges even prettier. Whether you go clockwise or counterclockwise, stop by the pond just east of the parking lot. Please enjoy the pictures, then go enjoy Scio Woods.
If you take some pictures there, please RSVP as attending this event and post your pictures here.
NOTE: as a Washtenaw County Preserve, dogs are *not* allowed in Scio Woods.
