Service Project and Annual Picnic

Join Sierra Club volunteers for our annual picnic and service project at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park.

We are helping to clean-up the park in the morning and have a picnic lunch in the afternoon. We will be collecting trash and debris in 2 areas of the park.

Sierra Club will supply trash bags.

Please bring gloves and wear appropriate clothing (closed toe shoes, hat). Bring a water bottle, sun creen and bug repellent.

FOR THE PICNIC: We will supply drinks, and veggi-burgers. If you want a beef burger, bring it and we will cook it. Please bring a dish to share with 8-10 people. If your dish needs to be refrigerated please bring it in a cooler. PLEASE BRING NON-DISPOSABLE plates, cups, forks, and napkins. Picnic starts at noon.
