What we're about

We are a group that is interested in local, state and national environmental issues. We all deeply love the natural environment and feel the need to advocate on the behalf of our beautiful waterways, forests and wildlife. We also engage in advocacy for renewable energy, environmental justice for exposed communities and a sustainable economy. We have great collaborations with many non-profits in the area to get our voices heard. We are a very friendly, well informed and dedicated group of individuals from varied backgrounds and parts of Western New York. Sierra Club Niagara is part of the Sierra Club NY State Atlantic Chapter which has a professional lobbyist and assistant to work on conservation issues in NY State. Sierra Club National is the oldest and most effective grassroots environmental organization in the country. Our voice counts please add yours. We need you more than ever!
