Climate Change is upon us - but do you understand the how and why of
it? This program is an introduction to climate change and will help you
grasp the importance of understanding this all important issue.

Join us in welcoming our presenter, Joe Pitts, retired Executive Director of the James River Partnership, DNR Environmental Specialist and Unit Chief, and earlier in his career, Houston High School science and biology teacher.

This event will take place on October 30, at 6:30 pm, at the Springfield Library Center Auditorium, 4653 S. Campbell, Springfield. Hope to see you there!

Interested in native wildflowers and grasses? Join other volunteers in a seed gathering event Saturday, November 1. Taylor Steinfeldt, a Natural Resource Ecologist with the Missouri State Parks, will be instructing volunteers on which seeds to collect for redistribution on restored glades in Shepherd of the Hills State Park, a brand new state park. If you would like to join us, meet at 9:00 at 4424 Sycamore Church Road, Branson. Bring a lunch, water, bug spray, and sturdy shoes. If you have any questions, contact pjshaver999@gmail.com.
