What we’re about

Sierra Social Meetup is for singles, couples, older and younger people. It's for people who like to get out, meet new people, socialize and have fun.

We hold events in Reno, Carson City, Dayton, Lake Tahoe and other areas. Some events we've held in the past include: dinner, movies, roller skating, hikes, trivia, concerts, Aces ball games, ice skating, dinner, dancing, alcohol crawls and annual events like The Nugget Rib Cook-off, The Great Italian Festival and The Taste of Downtown.

If this sounds like your kind of group, I hope you'll join us and look forward to seeing you at an event!

As a Sierra Social Meetup Group member you agree to the following on behalf of yourself and any guests you bring to a meetup.

"To the fullest extent allowed by law, I agree to WAIVE, DISCHARGE CLAIMS, AND RELEASE FROM LIABILITY the “Sierra Social Meetup Group”, it’s Organizers, Assistant Organizers, and Agents, from any and all liability on account of, or in any way resulting from Injuries and Damages, even if caused by negligence of the “Sierra Social Meetup Group”, its Organizers, Assistant Organizers, and Agents, in any way connected with any Meetup. I further agree to
HOLD HARMLESS the “Sierra Social Meetup Group”, its Organizers, Assistant Organizers, and Agents, from any claims, damages, injuries or losses caused by my own negligence while a participant on any Meetup. I understand and intend that this assumption of risk and release is binding upon my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, and includes any minors accompanying me on any Meetup."

Sierra Social Meetup Group Guidelines

It would be courteous of everyone in the group to please follow these simple guidelines.

If you RSVP YES, please show up.

If you RSVP YES and can't make it, let me know as soon as you know by changing your RSVP to NO.

It is not necessary to RSVP NO if you are not going to attend an event, (unless of course you have already RSVPed YES). We want to see "YES" RSVP's, not "NO's".
