Welcome! Our activities are open to the public. We hope you will join us! We are a volunteer-run grass roots environmental, conservation, and outdoors organization. Join us to learn more about the world we live in and make it a better place. (We hope you will consider joining the Sierra Club as you learn more about us!) The Sierra Club’s purpose is to explore, enjoy and protect the world around us. To accomplish this purpose, we organize and lead hikes and trips to all kinds of places and we educate the public on environmental issues affecting our quality of life and the planet as a whole. This meetup group focuses on primarily educational presentations and discussions and opportunities to make the environment better for us today and our kids tomorrow. We also have a few social events thrown in as well. We hope to create a dedicated meetup group for our “Outings” group soon that will include the hiking, camping, canoeing, and biking activities. For more information, including a full calendar of events, please visit: www.sierraclub.org/missouri/eastern-missouri We would love to see you at one of our events!
