- Suggest More Events and Opportunities around Tampa Bay - Take Initiative

Several times members have expressed a wish for more events in their neck of the woods, e.g. Tampa. Let me encourage you to make good things happen. Be active rather than passive. (In the past, all members could "Suggest" events. Now, until Meetup gives that back, contact an Organizer to request the organizing designation to be able to create yourself!)

So, Create additional opportunities for people to get together to socialize, learn, and practice. (Of course, not for outside / business interests.) Again, to create meetup events, members have to be given that capability by an Organizer. So, again, contact a group Organizer to let us know what event(s) you'd like to create first!

{Old info follows about "Suggesting" events -- with major site changes in late 2017, unfortunately, Meetup stopped allowing "Suggested" events. Let's hope that Meetup brings back the old "Suggest" option for all members.}

Also, if you hear of a learning opportunity or an event of interest, let others know about it.
