If you are like me and you crave certain foods while reading a particular book set in a foreign land, then you might be interested in this series. My hope is these special meetups (culinary celebrations) will encourage you to seek out authors and titles you might not otherwise read and start discussions about international authors. I've chosen four countries (Egypt, Germany, India, and Mexico) for attendees to choose reading material from and will be providing book suggestions.
We will not be reading during these meetups, though of course if you want to bring your book and read I certainly won't discourage anyone.
Everyone will be responsible for his/her own reservation. You can use this space to coordinate meeting up w/ other members on the same night/same place... I'll be including the time and other information needed for reservations in forthcoming event listings. January 17 - Egypt - Evo February 21 - Germany - Schulte and Herr March 21 - India - Tandoor April 18 - Mexico - El Corazon
