Kaitlin has been recognized as a leader and an educator in the mitigation of and adaptation to climate change. Kaitlin advocates for diverse leadership, intergenerational justice, and the scientific method. She is currently a Senior Immigration Specialist at Fragomen where she works to bring diverse talent in the tech industry to Salt Lake City. Kaitlin received an M.A. in Climate and Society from Columbia University, and a B.A. in Sociology, Africana Studies from Vassar College. She spends her free time publishing op-eds in local and national news outlets focused on education about climate change and the importance of women’s empowerment in the realm of climate justice. Kaitlin’s background is in climate change science, climate impact and risk assessment, coupled systems modeling, and stakeholder driven research and adaptation strategy. She is passionate and dedicated to Salt Lake City, the place she was born and raised, and her hands on approach to the implementation of positive change in her community.
