GDPR, PSD2, CIAM, and the Role of User-Managed Access 2.0

Details
User-Managed Access (UMA) 2.0 is a federated authorization framework that defines an extension OAuth 2.0 grant type and uses OAuth and federated identity technologies in various other ways. It defines how resource owners can control protected-resource access by clients used by arbitrary requesting parties, where the resources reside on any number of resource servers, and where a centralized authorization server governs access based on resource owner policies.
Data protection and digital transformation regulations, notably EU’s GDPR and PSD2, are requiring organizations worldwide to take greater care with individuals’ data. What does this mean for building relationships with consumers, and how can UMA make a difference? Join us to hear "chief UMAnitarian" Eve Maler describe its capabilities and give a demonstration.
