    Circuit Launch

Join us at Circuit Launch for a showcase of the VR community's latest artworks and games. Plus a demo of BeBop haptic sensor and more! Bring your robot or robotics-related project cause demos are awesome. Looking to hire or be hired in a robotics-related company? Have something to offer to robotics startups? We do announcements and introductions. Join Silicon Valley Robotics as a company or an individual member! But membership is easy: sign up now at http://www.svrobo.org/membership/. **** About the BeBop Forte data gloves: The Forte data glove is the first fully featured data glove to incorporate full range haptics for each finger and palm. One size fits most for this extremely fast and accurate gesture and finger sensing wearable. Data is streamed over USB and BLE with a battery charge lasting the entire day. Speed of data is a frame every 5 ms with sensor accuracy of 1.5 degrees. The haptics operate by sending 4KHz signals representative of real world tactile experiences to help close the loop of immersion. Users can take advantage of the supplied library of haptics or create their own using available data processing and conversion scripts. Sensors are made from BeBop's unique smart fabric. Each finger and thumb has two fabric sensors along with a 9 DoF IMU for best of class tracking. The Forte has received numerous awards and has been shipping since Spring 2019. Targeted primarily at training, research and design applications, the Forte data glove comes with support for unReal, Unity, Python, C+, and Java.
