SilverStripe Christchurch meetup

Hi Everyone,

Here are the details for our next meetup being held on Thursday 18th May starting @ 6.00pm.

Please note the change in venue as this event is being hosted by the Digichan Team @ Christchurch City Council city office in Hereford Street instead of our normal event hosts at Plato. Access to this event is via the Worcester Street entrance, not Hereford Street.

There will be someone at the door letting people in and a notice with a contact cellphone just in case.

Pre-drinks, chips and dips provided courtesy of SilverStripe Ltd at all meetups.

Agenda

1. Greet, mingle, pre-drinks and nibbles.

2. We will have members of the SilverStripe team attending from Wellington with Chris doing a presentation on 'What you should look out for in SilverStripe 4".

3. Kevin Prince from Christchurch City Council (Digichan) will be talking about web/mobile/tablet accessibility, he did a presentation on this to the Officers of Parliament recently and currently sits as an international expert on the certification development team of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals.

Slack Communication
We have a slack channel for members of the Silverstripe Christchurch meetup @ silverstripe-chch.slack.com.

If you want to be part of this group and as slack allows invites only, please send your email address to mike@simplyapps.co.nz or briar@beeonline.co.nz so we can invite you. You will receive an invite, then follow the instructions to set yourself up.

The channel can be used to ask any questions regarding silverstripe and some one will respond.
