3202 Jackson St, Rockford, IL
Please Join our Host, Wolfie, in his Rockford Home for one of his Wonderful Open House, Rolling Jams
We begin about 1 pm and run till 6 pm. I will provide the meat dish (and sometimes more). Bring what pleases you or fits your budget. to share (Veggie lovers, Vegans, Flesh eaters.... we have had it all.)
There are usually all levels of drumming skills present. This is a great way to acquire new skills, practice, have fun, or just network. We talk a lot too! And yes, we have no problem with children for which you, as parents, are in charge. The kids have fun, usually for a brief time, before moving on to other things.
Garb is always appreciated as are other musical devices. (You may be asked to use electronic devices only at certain times.)
If you have questions do not fear asking.
There are no dumb questions, I cannot assure you there will not be dumb answers. :-)
But, if there are questions please do not hesitate to ask.
I look forward to seeing everyone. As usual, my residence is a place of peace, harmony, and cooperation. If you have an axe to grind please leave it at the curb.
[masked] Leave a message if I do not answer, I'll get back to you as quickly as I can. (If I'm on the road it could be a couple of days)
NOTE: Since these are "flowing" jams, some folks come early and leave early, others come late and stay late, and others come early and stay the entire time. It's up to you, your schedule / spouse / pardner / lover / etc.
This year there will be 7 jams in all, each will be listed as we go. Be advised that we may spend more time networking, talking and eating than drumming or rhythm making. LOL.. Each jam is what it is and dependent upon who comes.
I do not keep lists and I really do not know who is coming or not. (unless some of the regulars tell me one way or the other) Feel free to bring a friend who might be interested.
BTW I often invite people I know cannot possibly attend. That is not a mistake but my way of saying, "Hey! I'm thinking about you and know you would be here if you could." Please consider it as such.
I submit this most respectively,
contributions to support our circle are always appreciated....wende
