Welcome to the Singapore Learning Circles Meetup!
Our Meetup aims to bring together professionals and individuals interested in playing an active role in shaping the culture of lifelong and community based learning in Singapore.
“Singapore Learning Circles” (SLC) is a project funded by the Lifelong Learning Council and Skills Singapore. Its goal is to enable and facilitate a national learning model that is by the community with the community. The project is powered by a digital platform so as to better synchronize with the learning styles of our modern society. For practitioners this creates a valuable opportunity to freely experience a blended model and effectively share their expertise with the community.
>Learning circles are recognized as Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Programs by the Institute of Adult Learning (IAL) and promoted to the Adult Educator Network (AEN)
>Community.Learning circles are recognized as an impactful model for community-led learning. In view of this, Individual Practitioners and Organizations can now be funded at the launch of their learning circle by the LearnNow SG seed fund
>Partner organizations reach out to us to freely share and develop local, original and innovative content for your respective communities.
