Accessibility in JavaScript Applications

Although the session will be thought using ReactJS the knowledge will be transferable to any JavaScript application

This workshop will help you to remove barriers to access that might prevent people with disabilities from using a modern JavaScript web application. We’ll study accessibility in UI components, primarily with React, but with knowledge applicable to all JavaScript-heavy web stacks.

And as always free pizza and beer!

Prerequisites:

  • A laptop with a web dev environment

  • Basic proficiency in ReactJS

  • A cheerful and inquisitive attitude
