Birchmere Concert: LEONID & FRIENDS (Excellent Cover Band)

Thanks for recent RSVPs.
As mentioned, there were no tickets available when I checked last month. I will be checking again.

Can I get an idea of WHO HAS TICKETS via comments or messaging?

I went to the box office tonight and the manager said this one is currently sold out and no tickets have been returned despite 4 reschedulings.
However, as the date gets closer, folks may start returning tickets.
Does anyone already have tickets?

Moved from May 26, 2021

to WEDNESDAY, JULY 28, 2021.

This may happen one day though bummer it's a Wednesday vs the original Sunday.

Please update your RSVPs.

A fantastic cover band of Russians!

They've got horns so perfectly cover groups such as Chicago, Earth, Wind & Fire, and the like.

I'm a huge Chicago fan, which is how I "discovered" them on YouTube!

If you've never heard of them, please check them out on YouTube or vi their website.
I think you'll like what you hear if you like the groups mentioned above.

Tickets are still $49.50 plus The Birchmere's $5.50 (last year) service fee and available via their box office or Ticketmaster, which has its own fees, but I think the Birchmere fee is a bit less.
Note: There may be an additional COVID Fee.
I will swing by the box office directly as I have done for past concerts so if you want to avoid some Ticketmaster fees (though Birchmere fee is lower via Ticketmaster), I can buy you ticket(s), but would require the funds in advance (e.g. Paypal).
Shows DO SELL OUT so securing tickets sooner rather than later is a good idea.

Curtain is 7:30PM. Music Hall seating begins at 6PM.

While there are restaurants nearby, in order for us to sit together, one or two of us (volunteers) will have to arrive early (before 5PM # handout) and get early Line Numbers. We'll go with whoever gets the lowest number as our GROUP CAN ENTER VIA ONE ENTRY TICKET.
It's simpler to eat at The Birchmere.
They have a decent dinner and drink menu.

from the website FAQs:
"The Birchmere is general admission, with all seating done on a first come, first served basis. To keep the process orderly, we use Line Numbers, which are picked up at the box office upon arrival.

The Music Hall is all seated with tables. The Flex Stage is all standing unless otherwise stated, and then it would have limited seating.

At 5pm, when the Box Office opens, we begin handing out Line Numbers to customers as they come to the Box Office. At 6pm when the Music Hall doors open, we begin seating by Line Number (i.e. the first person in at 5pm will be the first person in the Music Hall at 6pm). *Line Numbers are NOT used for Flex Stage shows. Reserved seats are NOT available, except for artists’ guests and VIPs."

If you have never parked at The Birchmere, the venue is not visible from Mt Vernon Ave, but rather behind the businesses along the avenue so the driveway is easy to miss despite GPS and the big sign for The Birchmere. Check it out on satellite.
