What we're about

This group is for women (30's-50's) especially women of color living with chronic illness/ chronic pain. The goal of this group is to serve as a light-hearted social/peer support group that encourages members to socialize with others who know what it's like to live with varying levels of health and the challenges associated with it. Often the lack of understanding can lead to the loss of family and friends leading to feelings of isolation. This group will hopefully be a ray of light in the life of those suffering from chronic illness/ pain.

The initial meeting in June will introduce members, discuss how best to support the members and plan future meetings/social gatherings. Please bring your ideas and be willing to participate.

People in care-giver/support roles may attend as long as they are accompanied by a group member.
