You Get A Tip!
Learn how to use the power of JavaScript to create an easy to use tip calculator. The fun doesn’t stop there we’ll also learn how to save and publish our code to GitHub. GitHub is a great place to showcase your projects to employers and other coders around the world.
What you need:
Sublime Text Editor (www.sublimetext.com)
GitHub account (www.github.com)
Google Chrome Browser (google.com/chrome)
NO CODING EXPERIENCE NEEDED, however in advance of the meetup, please download Sublime Text, which can be found @ www.sublimetext.com.
By the end of class, you will have created your own tip calculator!
Refreshments will be served and parking is free at the Tech Town lot at the corner Cass and Amsterdam!
**Don't forget to bring your laptop.
