MAIN PRESENTATION - Sitecore 8.2's Dependency Injection Framework

Did you know Sitecore XP 8.2+ comes with Dependency Injection (DI) "out of the box"? Are you using it?Mike will showcase how to leverage Sitecore's DI framework, and will also demonstrate how you can swap out the default DI container with your own.

Michael Reynolds, Senior Sitecore Architect at TechGuilds, is a Sitecore MVP with over ten years of Sitecore architecture and development experience with a proven track record of pushing the envelope of the Sitecore Experience Platform to deliver best-of-breed solutions for clients.
A well-known thought leader in the Sitecore community, Reynolds was recognized as a Sitecore Technology MVP since 2014 for his community contributions.

SECOND PRESENTATION - Continuous Integration Using AppVeyor

Continuous integration (CI) is an important step in a project to ensure quality and save time. Jeff will explore how to configure it for a Sitecore project with AppVeyor. It is a free CI cloud service for public repositories that supports Windows, .NET, Visual Studio, and MSBuild.

Jean-François (Jeff) L'Heureux is Coveo for Sitecore Tech Evangelist at Coveo. With over three years of Sitecore experience, he obtained the prestigious Sitecore Technologist MVP 2017 recognition for his expertise and his implication in the Sitecore community. He has a front-end developer background and he is interested in all aspects of software development. Jeff is a co-founder and co-organizer of the Sitecore User Group Quebec.

The meetup will take place at CGI Québec office in the Riopelle room.

You have to register at CGI's front desk on floor number 7. A visitor badge will be handed to you. It must be worn at all times while in the office. It is recommended to show up in advance to clear this step in time.


Food (probably pizza) and drinks will be provided by the sponsor of this event, CGI. If you have food restrictions, it might be better to eat before or bring your own food.
