RIDE SITECORE UNICORN, AND MASTER YOUR CONTINUOUS INTEGRATION JOURNEY

One of the biggest issues met by organizations working on Sitecore projects is: Items Synchronization. Usually, merging developers’ code in a continuous integration process is considered an easy task when using existing tools. However, it is quite another story when merging Sitecore Templates, Layouts, Sublayouts and Placeholder Settings in another Sitecore instance, and synchronizing every piece of content.

In this session, we will look at Sitecore Unicorn, see how to get started with this tools, walkthrough advanced configuration and learn to incorporate it in a continuous integration process and maximise its considerable benefits.

With over nine years of experience developing desktop and web applications, Hugo Santos joined Coveo in 2016 to help them evolve even more their products. His first contact with Sitecore was in 2014, back on the days when he was working as a back-end developer at SapientRazorfish. Since then, he has been always involved in Sitecore projects building websites for a few big companies and more recently working on the Coveo For Sitecore integration package. Jean-François (Jeff) L'Heureux is Coveo for Sitecore Tech Evangelist at Coveo. With over four years of Sitecore experience, he obtained the prestigious Sitecore Technologist MVP 2017 and 2018 recognition for his expertise and his implication in the Sitecore community. He has a front-end developer background and he is interested in all aspects of software development. Jeff is a co-founder and co-organizer of the Sitecore User Group Quebec.
