Sunday 10am Online Anxiety and Stress Reduction sessions with Mindfulness

We're all living through new and for some, daunting times. Many, many people are worried about what the future holds for them and their families and friends. If you've found yourself here, perhaps you may recognise some of these scenarios: - a lot of time spent endlessly worrying about what might happen. - the inability to sleep at night - acute body tension - overwhelming feelings of stress, anxiety and sadness or grief - becoming angry easily and then acting on these frustrations - feeling like you're overwhelmed and unable to cope Emma Reynolds, an accredited Mindfulness teacher* will be exploring what stress is, how it manifests and how we can work with it each Sunday morning online, 10-11am. In each 60 minute session we will be doing a variety of meditation practices. If you've never meditated, or tried but "failed" this is a great opportunity to be supported in this practice and we will look at how to work with the flow of thoughts, body pain etc. Ideal for people interested in learning more about Mindfulness and Meditation, but equally valid for people who have perhaps done the MBSR** course and want to continue to develop and deepen their practice in a welcoming environment on-line *Emma is an experienced Mindfulness teacher. You can read some testimonials about her here: https://www.mbsr-mindfulness.com/feedback **The Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course is seen as the "Gold standard" in Mindfulness courses, and is very practical. Training the mind to notice difficult thoughts and emotions, and rather than buying into them, you learn to allow them to come and go. From this new perspective life's challenges feel more surmountable. It also promotes better attention skills, more compassion towards yourself and others, and less reactivity. Price: by donation. The sessions will be in group format via Zoom (I will send you a link to click on). Just join us when you like (no start or end date, just a continual practice available online) Contact me for donation payment details- if you feel you'd like to contribute.
